Keeping Your Inflatable Boats and Toys in Good
Condition
All your inflatable items should be
kept clean and in working order. You can reduce the risk of rot or
disintegration of these items by washing them and then wiping them dry.
There are many different inflatable products that make life more fun and
simple. Examples include a beach ball that can be tossed around the
park, an inflatable toddler chair that can travel with you, and
inflatable tubs and rafts for fun at the beach or lake. One of the great
things about these items is that they take up very little space when not
in use. Taking proper care of these items is simple, but does require
more than use letting out the air.
Everyone in your family should be shown the responsible way to use the
equipment, no matter what it is. These items are usually not built to
withstand extreme conditions such as being poked with a sharp object,
being jumped on, or being mistreated in other ways. They should only be
used for the purpose for which they were designed. Remove the item from
anyone who is seen handling it improperly so that they know you are
serious.
All your inflatable items should be kept clean and in working order. You
can reduce the risk of rot or disintegration of these items by washing
them and then wiping them dry. They should not be left outdoors exposed
to harsh weather conditions and elements. Be sure they are kept in their
proper locations, for instance inflatable pool rings in the pool area.
Never use inflatable products for a purpose other than the one for which
they were designed. For example, it is never acceptable to use an
inflatable toddler seat as a car seat. Additionally you would not want
to let your dog play with an inflatable beach ball in case it got
ruptured and injured your pet. Inflatable boats are designed for use on
the water, not the snow or mud.
All inflatable products should be stored with care. Once clean products
should be carefully folded and returned to their original packaging. If
the original packaging is no longer available find a container that is
an acceptable alternative. To make the product easy to locate in the
future the container should be properly labeled.
You should hold on to all the repair kits that come with your inflatable
products, or purchase one if it was not supplied. Always carefully read
the instructions on the repair kit prior to use, as each one will vary
slightly. Treating your inflatable products well will help insure that
they give you years of fun.
